Living in the UK but being from Rochester, NY has caused me to travel across the Atlantic quite a bit. And ever since I became a mother, we fly over to the States at least twice every year. Aside from flying to the states, we have a couple vacations abroad. With all this traveling, I now consider myself an expert at long haul flight with toddler…I’m a master at child-travel-entertainment! My London Heathrow to Rochester, NY flight takes around 22 hours door to door. Below are the basics that I pack for my daughter’s carry-on bag. She has a ‘Trunkie’ – a little suitcase on 4 wheels that she sits on while I pull her. The key is to make sure your toddler is comfortable and has a variety of things to keep her entertained!
