An Answer To All Life’s Problems: The Checklist
In the book, ‘The Checklist Manifesto: How To Get Things Right,’ Atul Gawande explains that, “…the volume and complexity of what we know has exceeded our individual ability to deliver its benefits correctly, safely, or reliably. Knowledge has both saved us and burdened us.”
We live in a world of information overload. We know that there’s an answer, or YouTube video, to any ‘how to’ question. We’ve learned that any problem can be researched, discussed and potentially solved all from the starting point of Google.com. The answer to everything is at the end of our fingertips, yet the quantity is too much and the quality is questionable.
Mr Gawande suggests that we need a different strategy for overcoming failure. This strategy needs to take advantage of the knowledge and experience that people have yet somehow make up for the inadequacies of human error. The information is available – it just needs to be accessible in a way that works. His suggested strategy – a checklist!
CheckListables.com has therefore been created to attract and deliver quality checklists that help us live easier, safer, more productive lives. We now have the technology to create and share what works, steps needed to accomplish a particular goal and blueprints of success that can be used over and over.
Our Mission: To create the largest repository of quality checklists in the world

About the CheckListables Founders
Joanna Miller (pictured on the left) and Kim Brown (on the right), founded CheckListables after struggling to find quality lists! In a serendipitous fashion, Joanna was looking for house moving checklist and Kim was searching for a child’s party checklist. They both met for lunch one day and discussed their frustration for the massive amounts of junk on the Internet – specifically in the area of checklists. Yes – most information is free now days but most of it isn’t worth anyone’s time creating it or looking at it!
Joanna, Kim and the creators that are attracted to CheckListables aim to provide quality checklists giving you as much quality, rich information as possible to make your life easier, more productive and perhaps a bit more fun.
